Photography
I have always been a visual person. Many nights you can find me climbing up the side of a building to capture that perfect, pretentiously arty shot. I've worked as wedding photographer, a wedding videographer, and a photographer's assistant.
My work has been featured in Cambridge's city pamphlet, various newsletters, and is available in several stock photography archives.

A floor lamp made from an IV stand, Kracken Rum bottles, electric dog fence wire, Edison bulbs, a vacuum cleaner plug, and more sink tubing. A wall light switch is mounted in a metal http://chriscanfield.net/images/Photos/IVFloorLamp.jpgbox on the base, to complete the industrial / medical look. 
Custom wedding invitations
Paring knife built from a continuous piece of Brass. Highly comfortable and practical, and yet with two flaws to make it useless.
Inspired by the industrial designs of Ron Arad. 
Discarded Genesis titles from a bankrupt video game store, converted to a doorstop.
Such will be the fate of my titles someday.

Zombie Kermit Halloween puppet (c) 2014
This zombie kermit includes such details as a half-eaten Elmo, real human denture teeth, exposed ribs & torn off arm simulated through broken chicken bones, and an exposed spine made of metal hose. This won puppet won Best Costume at 2014's Cirque of the Dead. |
